The silhouettes were very feminine with a defined waist. The majority of the dresses had a draping approach or used stretchier fabrics. All of the light, draped looks (and the sequins) faintly recalled the 1970s. The color palette was certainly remarkable though. There were strict sections of white, yellow, orange, green, and blue. Although they’re very commercial, Elie Saab’s collections do provide a classical beauty that is not commonly seen in fashion.
