Chloé- SS 2012
Like so many other houses this season, Chloé has a new creative director. Her name is Clare Waight Keller and she seems quite capable, but will it work out? I think it just might after I saw this collection. The show opened with floaty dresses and then progressed into boyish shirts and pants. Eventually tailored jackets and blazers also came into the mix. The colors were lovely for summer too; lots of beige and white accented with a lot of aqua, brick red, orange, and peach. The accessories were very chic and actually some of the best bags and shoes I’ve seen from Chloé in awhile. It was also nice to see clothes that were more streamlined and current, and less retro like the past few seasons at Chloé. Although she just began, I think Keller has a nice chance to revamp Chloé.
